 r the Awards Dinner.  DSOAQ\'s Inaugural WINTERFEST event is being held at
  Crows Nest in the foothills of the Toowoomba range. It is a lovely villag
 e with much to offer, from easy local bush walks and mountain bike riding 
 to horse riding if that takes your fancy. We highly recommend Bullocky\'s 
 Rest Park which links Applegum Walk and Hartmann Park with undisturbed bus
 hland and history. It is about a 30-minute walk at grade 3 (easy). The foo
 die culture is alive and very well with the very popular and stunning Myrt
 ille, a French inspired restaurant and awesome patisserie, the My Little B
 lueberry Café right next door, offering fashion arts antiques and much mo
 re all in one location. The Crows Nest Café and Feelin Saucy Italian Pizz
 a are close to the famous Crows Nest Cordial Factory in the main street. T
 he main street has a town park as a central feature to relax or explore, i
 t\'s a very thoughtfully designed town center featuring the Jimmy Crow sta
 tue & history. Accomodation: Our base will be the lovely 4-star Crows Nest
  Motel. Locally owned and operated, expect a friendly country welcome memo
 rable stay. You have a variety of room types to choose from. All rooms are
  ground floor, modern, sparkling clean and spacious. Set among sprawling g
 ardens that are a delight to explore, it was an entrant in the Carnival of
  Flowers competition and conveniently located to town. Summary of weekend 
 activities: Friday July 7: Arrive at your leisure, check in to accommodati
 on and welcome drinks at 5pm followed by dinner. Saturday July 8 Breakfast
  with a local food truck before a full day of activities: - Show N Shine (
 incl. judging for local awards) - Lunch at a local brewery - Afternoon run
  on local roads Return to Crows Nest and get ready for Canapes at 6pm foll
 owed by dinner and awards ceremony from Show \'N Shine. Option to toast ma
